Compressor test rig

The working process of compressor can be expressed by dynamometer, which reflects the change of gas pressure in cylinder with volume. The core of this experiment is to measure the actual compressor's dynamometer with modern testing technology. In order to obtain the closed dynamometer of the compressor's working process, the pressure sensor is used to test the pressure in the cylinder and the Hall switch is used to determine the position of the compressor piston. When the experimental system is running normally, Hall switch generates a pulse signal. The data acquisition board collects the pressure signal at a predetermined frequency under the excitation of the pulse signal. When the next pulse signal is generated, the computer interrupts the acquisition of the pressure signal and stores the collected data. Obviously, the time interval between the two pulse signals approaching the switch corresponds to the piston running back and forth in the cylinder once (one cycle), during which the compressor completes four processes: expansion, suction, compression and exhaust. The signal is amplified and sent to the computer. After calculation and processing, relevant data and closed dynamometer diagrams and open dynamometer diagrams are obtained. Based on the principle of Engineering thermodynamics, the process equation of gas expansion and compression in the compressor and the power consumption of the compressor can be further determined.
